Not just an apple crumble... a tiger crumble!

Prep time: 15 mins

Bake time: 20 minutes

Serves: 2 people



2 apples (peeled)

½ teaspoon cinnamon

4 tablespoons maple syrup

1 cup tiger nut flour

3 tablespoons tiger nut oil



Preheat oven to 180°C.

Peel the apples and cut up into small pieces. Put them in a small pot on medium heat, stir through the cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of the maple syrup. Cook on a medium heat until the apples are starting to soften a little (approx. 5 mins).

In a bowl mix together the tiger nut flour, tiger nut oil and remaining maple syrup (3 tablespoons).

When the apples are done place them in a small baking dish, sprinkle over the tiger nut flour mixture on top and bake in the oven for 20 mins or until golden on top.
